With the addition of the new sheriff’s training academy which is strategically located on the same campus as the new South Dallas Government Center, Dallas’ law enforcement group has a beacon for justice moving forward.

Having served as the 60% Joint Venture General Contractor in delivering the 27,000 square feet new ground up facility, this project is now the central training academy for both sworn peace officers and new cadets within Dallas County. The Dallas County Sheriff’s Department, Constables and Dallas County Hospital District Police all utilize the facility for training and continuing education as needed.

Comprised of three lecture halls for instruction with additional classrooms and instructor observation areas, the academy also includes the latest in digital technology, CrossFit training, weights, and communications. There is also an adjacent running trail that is shared with the neighboring community to increase visability and trust while also producing highly skilled public servants for the City of Dallas.

The new academy has a new masonry exterior mixed with curtainwall and stone for an aesthetically pleasing design. The interiors include new state-of-the-art MEP Systems with high-end finishes. The project also includes a new parking lot and radio tower.
