The October 2019 storm brought tornado damage that left the original Walnut Hill Elementary School damaged and not suitable for use. Source Building Group, Inc. served on this joint venture project that consisted of the renovation of the existing structure of approximately 55,000 square feet and addition of 110,000 square feet into a state-of-the-art 9-12 grade technology center for Dallas Independent Schools as the Career Institute North. The facility offers and prepares students for exciting careers ranging from aviation and construction to healthcare and transportation.
