Johnny is a proud graduate of an HBCU – Alabama A&M University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE). Specializing in transportation and underground utilities, he has worked as a Project Manager with municipal government in overseeing conception, design and construction of CIP and maintenance projects. Additionally, He has experience in working with local and state officials, engineers as well as public and private citizens on various projects that impact communities.

Johnny transitioned into ground-up construction as a Project Engineer building apartments, assisted and independent dwellings. He also work with engineers, architects, trades, qwners and owner reps. He joined SBGI as a PE over two years ago working exclusively on Joint Venture (JV) and TRI-Venture commercial projects. Presently working on the TAMU Law School and Education Building buildout, Johnny hopes to broaden his KSA’s in other market sectors in which SBGI has work in. My career path is to continue to learn as a PE while moving toward a goal in construction management.
